• On laptop, live from my Sprint 3G/4G dongle. 3G reception appears to suck inside buildings, but works great in the car. 4G sucks everywhere. #
• Key to getting Sprint 4G working is to gripe. Now getting 1 bar of 4G signal: 1.2 Mbps. Frustratingly weak; need more bars in more places. #
• Sprint 4G: ping time of 369 milliseconds. For those who aren't nerds like moi, that is horrendously slow, and creates massive lag. #
• Sprint 4G: for the record, when I was in a store parking lot and actually got GOOD signal, I was getting > 3 Mbps down. Impressive. #
• Sprint 3G: Just tested the speed on this. Roughly half speed (750 kbps), but much better latency (177 ms). Still 1 bar. #
• Occurs to me that even 5 years ago 768k download speed would've been considered blazing fast, and we would all be paying premo price for it. #
